Our technical department specializes in tuning Xledger to fit your company’s needs. With our maritime knowledge and accounting background we see the possibilities and advantages in the setup that is valuable for our clients. From company and vessel hierarchies to dimension structure, all the way down to supplier and customer registers.
When implementing a new ERP system, its important to keep in mind who is going to use it and set it up to their needs. The biggest challenge we encounter during implementing new ERP with a new client is the famous phrase: “This is how we always have done it”. The most important thing when setting up a new cloud based system is to rethink the existing processes; see possibilities – not problems.
Xledger support
Our support desk is established at our Oslo office, this is handled by our technical department.
We do all implementation, support, training and maintenance ourselves and everything is done from our HQ in Oslo. We also do on site training and implementation for clients around the globe.
Integration support
All integrations is hosted, maintained and supported by VIEW, and is supported from Oslo.

Maritime Accounting

VIEW Maritime started out as a certified accounting company back in 2012. The primary goal for the company have always been and will always be; Help the maritime business adapt digitalization and lead the way for change and adaption to modern solutions.
When establishing VIEW Maritime the accounting department consisted of 2 accountants – working full time on voyage accounting and integration handling. During the years this department have grown to 7 maritime accountants working with voyage accounting, management accounting, invoicing, payroll and other accounting related tasks.
We have various delivery models for our accounting department:
Full outsourcing; We work as your inhouse department and ensure that your accounts is done within the timeline agreed. Bookkeeping, voyage reconciliations, VAT submitting, payroll processing and reporting and reporting.
Partly outsourcing: We deliver what you want us to do. If you need help with bank reconciliation, invoicing of management fees, payroll or simply hire us to go through expense claims.
Consultant basis: As a customer of VIEW Maritime you have the option of hiring an consultant to work inhouse with your accounting department, or simply help out when a employee is on vacation, long term sick leave or a key employee leaving the company, and you need more capacity in a limited period of time.

Our accounting department use Xledger and Tripletex as our main ERP systems. Both are cloud based systems that allows us to collaborate with our clients across the country on the same platform.
Note: VIEW Maritime currently only offers Accounting Services to Norwegian companies – due to local rules and regulations.
