The shipping market has been under a lot of pressure since the world financial crisis in 2008. The has led to an enormous focus on profitability and cash flow. If you want to survive, you need to always be one step ahead and continuously improve. Hence, we need to optimize all our processes, Steinhaug says. It is not enough to deliver the best product to our customers, we also must get the overview and keep cost down. We need to improve and renew continuously, and we enlarge our fleet to meet the customers requirements and market’s needs.
